Cancer is a potentially devastating diagnosis for anyone, but it can seem more unsettling around the holidays. The Chaffin Luhana Foundation is proud to donate $250 to Relay for Life, American Cancer Society, on behalf of one of our paralegals, Danielle Patterson.
Relay for Life is a time for communities across the world to join together in the fight against cancer, and to remember those who have lost their lives to the disease. “Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.”
This cause is near and dear to Danielle’s heart. Her cousin died at the young age of 26 after battling cancer. Danielle’s mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and continues to fight her battle against this horrible disease.
“Chaffin Luhana LLP and I have joined the fight to help end cancer for a person diagnosed yesterday, today or tomorrow because silence won’t finish the fight,” Danielle said.
We are honored that Danielle chose to send her donation to The American Cancer Society, Relay for Life. If you would like to help win the battle against cancer, you can donate here, or send your donation to the address below:
